Canada Day Celebration

Canada Day 2025 was celebrated in Kuala Lumpur with vibrant red and white, familiar Canadian tunes, and classic favourites like poutine, butter tarts, and freshly prepared salmon. CALM’s bond with Canada goes back to its very beginning, when the High Commission graciously hosted the association’s charter in 2018. In the years since, there have been many moments of fellowship and shared events where we have supported one another. In 2023, twelve Malaysians joined the Commonwealth Study Conference in Canada, further deepening these ties. This year’s celebration was a warm reminder of the enduring Canada–Malaysia friendship that continues to shape CALM’s journey. CALM was represented at the event by President Yap Li Ling.
