Commonwealth Day Dinner and Talk

CALM celebrated Commonwealth Day in Kota Kinabalu with a programme exploring North Borneo’s history and heritage. The Honorary British Consul for Sabah, Mr. Powell, read the King’s message on the theme “Forging a Sustainable and Peaceful Common Future.” Guest of Honour Datuk Christina Liew presented participants with Land Below the Wind by Agnes Keith, a fitting book for the occasion. This was followed by a historical sharing by Datuk James Sarda. The event blended learning and reflection, inspiring participants toward sustainability, peace, and shared purpose. The programme was headed by Organising Chair Rizawani Fiona.
