Visiting His Majesty’s Canadian Ship OTTAWA

The visit of HMCS Ottawa to Sabah holds the distinction of being the first ever by a Canadian navy ship to the state. HMCS Ottawa plays a crucial role in MARPAC missions, ensuring the operational readiness of the Royal Canadian Navy in the Pacific Ocean. In alignment with shared Commonwealth values, the visit underscored a commitment to promoting democracy, security, and peace. CALM was honoured to attend this historic occasion, represented by President Yap Li Ling and Ex-Officio Hanaa Wong.
